LDR- 7, Mother/baby- 8; 50-60 births per month, Family Birth Center. N:P ratio labor 1: 1-2, Couplet 1:3 Family Birth Center Level I facility- term pregnancy and delivery, postpartum and newborn care, stabilization of the newborn for transport to a higher level of care, occasional gyn patient. Special procedures done on the unit- epidural anesthesia (rate 40%), labor tub, versions, outpatient NST's, outpatient lactation clinic  Common equipment: Corometrics fetal monitor, Panda Warmer, Braun epidural pump, Alaris IV pumps, Neoblue phototherapy lights, Draeger Jaundice meter, Massimo portable O2 sensors, Phillips cardiac monitors   Phillips Intellispace OBTV, Cerner
