Registered Nurse – Case Management- Case Manager
Previous case management experience and demonstrated experience in utilization management, discharge planning, or transfer coordination. Knowledge of Nurse Practice Act, The Joint Commission and other federal/state/local regulations. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in nursing or health related field. Master's degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current California RN license required. Current BLS required.
Coordinates quality, accreditation, regulatory and licensing (AR&L), patient safety and risk management activities for the medical
center. Provides clinical, educational, consulting, and coordinating support to assigned areas. Uses nurses' licensure as a substantial
amount of scientific knowledge or technical skill for indirect patient care services that ensure the safety, comfort, personal hygiene,
and protection of patients; and the performance of disease prevention and restorative measures.
