Endoscopy Nurse - Travel - (Endo RN)

General job duties. Types of procedures required. PACU EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Prefer experience: RN caring for patient in Endoscopy (EGD/Colononscopy/Bronch) with Moderate Sedation. Also, prepping patient for the procedure and discharge. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Pyxis and Paragon EMR Required skills and minimum years of experience. PACU Experience, 3 years, Endoscopy and Moderate Sedation experience, 1 year Ambulatory Care setting experience, or Same Day Unit experience required Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) BLS, ACLS, PALS Shift or schedule requirements. May take call. If call only once every two weeks and maybe a two day weekend. Call possibly one weekend a month Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) FLOAT to BEND Campus Float to SDU where the endoscopy patients are prepared and discharged. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. One endoscopy suite, three ORs Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) 1:3Hi Dress Code: Scrubs provided by hospital Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. Orientation is typically 2-5 days with a preceptor. System education is provided on the EMR.
