Outpatient Clinic - Oncology
University HealthCare Alliance (UHA) is a medical foundation affiliated with Stanford Health Care (SHC) and the Stanford School of Medicine.
The Registered Nurse III (RN III) will do admixtures, administer chemotherapy, blood products and antibiotics in the infusion center, and oversee lab services. He/she will also provide symptom management and patient education.
Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing (BSN) or above from an accredited nursing program
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers issued by the American Heart Association
Oncology Nursing Society Biomedical/Chemotherapy Certification (ONS)
1 or more years of oncology experience in ambulatory/outpatient or acute care/hospital environment required
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills required
Excellent IV skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a complex health care environment.
