Job Description & Requirements

Registered Nurse – Pediatric Emergency Room

Fast paced high acuity emergency room. They must be able to care for the growing needs of mental health patients that are now common in most Emergency rooms. Before submitting, ensure the candidate's licensing and certifications are currently active. Our assignments are 13 weeks. If your candidate's credentialing will expire during that span of time, please redirect them until renewals have been completed. All candidates, in every role is required to have proven, specialized experience in working with CHILDREN to include gestation, infancy, childhood, adolescence up to age 18. Example: A candidate with 12 years of nursing expertise, having 11 on hand in adults and 1 child focused year should be redirected.

Required Qualifications

3 yrs pedi ER exp at a minimum must also be available to work night shifts only which is 7p-7a and every other weekend Must be willing to work the entire Christmas holiday. CPI, ACLS and PALS may not expire during assignment active VA/Compact license may not expire during assignment

triage experience is plus
