JOB DESCRIPTION Manager Interview About Facility: 492 Beds 2105 E. South Blvd., Montgomery, AL 36116 Level II Trauma Center Level III NICU Primary Stroke Center General Information: Number of Beds (if applicable): 15; 2 are CVOR Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? No Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes with at least 2-years experience Patient Types: Minimal Peds (typically Ortho) Patient Ratios: 1:1 Required Skills: STRONG experience in Trauma (no burns), Neuro, General, Vascular, ENT, General, Ortho spine, Ortho (must have total joint experience), Gyn, vascular (Endovascular as well), urology, robotics for both General and Neuro, Plastics, breasts, eyes RN: circulate only, experience in above case types Prefer robotics experience (Robotic Mazor/DaVinci XI) Open Heart – CVOR? Staff specifically CVOR? How many? 2 would be asked for CVOR if needed. Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Support on the Unit: ORA Desk assistant Charge nurse Team leaders for service lines Technology/Equipment: EMR: Cerner IV pumps: Plum 360 Medication dispensing: Omnicell Monitors: Spacelabs Floating: If yes, where? No Orientation: 2 weeks on day shift, expected to take buddy call while on orientation Scheduling: Weekend rotation: on call On call? If so, what is that schedule? 1 day a week, one weekend a month Holiday Expectations: Expected to work a holiday per contract Approval of time off?
