General Information: Number of Beds:12 Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? No Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, with at least 2-years’ ICU experience and Cerner OR Epic experience Patient Types: Critical Care, Surgical – Heart failure, COPD, post-op GI, colon resection, fem-pop, carotids, vascular surgeries (no open heart, no neuro, no traumas) Patient Ratios: 1:2; 1:3 (rare) Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Skills required: Vent maintenance, Trach care, chest tube, A-line, medication titration Support on the Unit: CNA (Ratio): 1:12 Receptionist/HUC: Yes, days only Charge nurse: Yes, occasionally in assignment depending on staffing Phlebotomy: Yes IV/VAT Team: Yes Hospitalist: Yes Intensivist: Yes Telemetry monitoring tech?
