Job Description & Requirements

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Catheterization Lab

Unit Capacity: Number of Beds/Cases: 3 cath rooms/8-10 cases per day Adults & Geriatrics What areas require floating? may float to cath care Frequency: as needed Common Equiment: Maclab monitoring system, Angiojet,Impella,Balloon pumps,IV pumps, ACCUdose Titrate Vascoactive Drips? Yes Do you use computerized charting? Yes What system? GE Maclab and Meditech Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: Left heart Caths/Complex PCI/Pacemakers/Peripheral intervention/STEMI/ Any special procedure done on the unit? IMPELLA/ Balloon pumps/ Laser atherectomy/ Laser venous ablation

Required Qualifications

BLS, ACLS Tele interpretation and ventilator experience PA lines and IV Insertion Scrub experience
