Job Description & Requirements

Registered Nurse – Post-Anesthesia Care Unit - PACU

Conducts assessments, documents care, provides emotional support, coordinates transfers, recovers patients, circulates cases, assist with processing instruments/equipment in central sterilizing and prepares patients for surgery. Assist other staff members and provides patient education. Knowledge of and/or interest in technical procedures and care. Adheres to principles of infection control and general policies of the department. Follows national standards thru IAHCSMM, AORN, ASGE, and ASPAN.

Required Qualifications

RN graduate with current Colorado licensure. ACLS certification,

Preferred Qualifications

3 Years Pre-op/OR/PACU experience preferred. CNOR preferred, scrub experience preferred also.
