Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) is a not-for-profit community health system dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of the people of Northeast Georgia. Through the services of a medical staff of more than 800 physicians, the residents of Northeast Georgia enjoy access to the state’s finest and most comprehensive medical services. Required Qualifications

BLS, NIHSS (Med/Surg) BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (ICU) BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (ER) GA or Compact License WEEKEND SCHEDULE - specifically Thursdays, Fridays, Saturday, Sundays, and Mondays THIS IS A FLOAT POOL - BLS & ACLS required depending on specialty. MS Float, CC Float, ED Float Each can be floated but within their service line. Will float within 5 NGMC facilities. Critical Care RN: Understanding that this is a night shift only contract with set shifts to choose from, and no holidays or overtime can be worked. Resource Contract Staff are only allowed to work 3 shifts from the following options, with a potential for a request of schedule change to accommodate our system needs. Next Week: Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday ( all nightshift) At NGHS, our work week starts on a Monday and concludes on Sunday. As a CC RN contract employee within Resource Pool, you will be floating to 3 (three) of our campuses (Gainesville, Braselton, Barrow). With the potential of all 5 campuses (including Habersham and Lumpkin) if IMCU or CC acuity care develops a need, which has not happened yet. I would like to encourage an opportunity to visualize the distance of these campuses from one another, as well reference to where you will be staying during off-hours. Familiarization with Team Based Nursing (RN, LPN, and Tech care for up to 7 patients) and Inpatient Holding within an ER setting In addition to floating amongst all campuses, contract resources are the first staff members chosen to be pulled mid-shift to travel to an alternate campus location to fulfill a staffing need. Expectation to be assigned a IMCU Acuity, if the need for contract worker is not present in Critical Care - IMCU ration is 4:1 and CC can be 2 or 3: If you can have this communication and provide the response of the candidate with their profile, that would be exceptional. There have been so many instances where this information is not transparent to the contract worker, and it creates issues on my team's end with onboarding and length of contract.
