Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

This Emergency Room (ER) unit with 1:6 staffing boasts the latest in cutting-edge technology as well as a compassionate and effective patient care model. This highly esteemed facility welcomes creative and energetic caregivers to join its team. - 500 bed teaching hospital, ranked number one hospital in NJ for the treatment of stroke and complex neurological disorders - North Jersey location offering the best of both both worlds, quick drive to both NYC and gorgeous coastal beach towns

Required Qualifications

Years of Experience: 2. - Perm NJ or Compact RN license (#, expiration) - ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIH - This is a FAST-PACED, high patient acuity Emergency Department. Nurse to patient ratio- 1:6 (occasionally 1:7 based on acuity), the ED can reach up to 220 Patients per da, with up to 20 stroke patients per shift. Float Requirements- float within department- ED Adult, Peds, IMC.
