Travel nurses'' jobs may be a little different than those of their permanent counterparts, but their primary goal is the same: doing everything possible to keep patients healthy and safe. And their very presence is part of that overall agenda. Most hospitals and other health care facilities bring in travel nurses to be sure that their patients will get the quality care they need, regardless of census fluctuations, staff vacations, building projects or computer conversions.
